Parcelly keeps spreading the #parcellove across Europe!
Last week the Parcelly team jetted off to Paris for a consecutive year (following our Publicis90 GOLD award win) to meet the world’s brightest innovators, tech-lovers and pioneers of industry at Viva Technology 2017!
The three-day event welcomed 50,000 attendees from all over the world, including 5,000 startups, 1,000 investors, and 400 speakers, including big names such as Eric Schmidt (Alphabet), John Collison (Stripe), Jeff Immelt (GE) and Daniel Zhang (Alibaba Group).
As well as being a focal point for startups, the event boasted a wide range of established international companies, including BNP Paribas, Carrefour, Cisco, EY and many other global brands.
The event featured cutting-edge robots, drones and amazing VR demos to name but a few, making it extremely exciting to see what the technology industry holds for us in the future. A central VIVATECH arena featured drone battles and robots as well as today’s most advanced VR/AR and AI experiences, and of course a main stage that spotlights keynote speakers, awards and pitches.
Spending 3 full days at this buzzing event, we particularly loved the session on 'How Startups Are Changing The Relationship Between Customers And Brands'. 'Why?' Because, Parcelly helps brands to form a far more positive relationship with their customers through a smooth last-mile delivery experience. Research has shown that ‘76% of Online shoppers in the UK were likely to switch retailers after a negative home delivery experience’ (JDA & Centiro Christmas Customer Pulse Report 2017).
