Hello 2019 - we have been eagerly expecting you!
But before diving into all exciting new ventures this year has mapped out for Parcelly, we wanted to take a step back and recap on 2018 and the key milestones we took in terms of network and tech developments, industry partnerships and brand building.
Our network has grown to just under 2,000 locations across the UK, fueled by our expanded partnerships with Barnardo's, the ACS, Costcutter Supermarkets and the Booker Group. Parcelly's technology platform not only diversified through new services like Mini-Warehousing and Key Exchange, but also in terms of label reading and barcode scanning ability. We operate today in partnership with over 8 domestic couriers, and since re-launching our Shopify API, attracted more than 28 retailers to our service, from Aesop in Skincare to Komodo in Fashion and Krispy Kreme in the Food sector.

1) INNOVATION AND PARTNERSHIP GROWTH
We continued to make waves in the industry, by diversifying our services, technology platform and industry partnerships. Our nationwide Parcelly location network is now a catalyst for urban logistic solutions which allow retailer and logistic partners alike to offer on-demand fulfilment options and level the playing field with Amazon's Prime service.
2) INDUSTRY THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Much like last year, we stole the show at a number of prestigious multinational events, sharing the stage with the biggest names in the industry, and continuing to set the standard of smart, sustainable first and last-mile logistic solutions.
3) PARCELLY "PICK 'n' PACK"
We launched a new video series late summer where we 'pick' a relevant industry topic and 'pack' as much information as possible into a short 3-5 minute video, discussing burning industry topics with our CEO Sebastian, starting with hyper-local warehousing. 4) THE SHARING ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability and lessening the impact of parcel deliveries is extremely close to our heart. Thanks to the ever-rising number of Parcelly fans, partners and customers, we helped offset >85 tons of CO2 emissions together with our longterm partner Atmosfair! Our much-acclaimed business model, which is converting redundant space into parcel storage capacity, has not only been replicated around the world, but also turned into a household name for Sharing Economy players in the logistic space (referenced in a Warwick Business School research paper this year).
And we continued to take an active part in thought leadership discussions via conferences like the Footprint Forum, and our company blog covering a number of topics on sustainable logistic innovation.
And last but not least: we celebrated our 4th Parcelly anniversary on December 8th, and would like to extend a very special thank you to our loyal customers, business-, retail- and logistic partners and all around parcellove(rs) out there...
