MEET ROOT IN LONDON PADDINGTON – OUR PARCELLY LOCATION OF THE MONTH
Welcome to Root, the local business that used to be an internet café with a barber at the back of the store, but now sells everything from electronic devices to vapes! The store has been run by manager Mr Mustafa for 10 years now, and keeps adapting its products and services to match their customers' needs.
Chosen for being one of our oldest Parcelly locations and one of the first locations to run our new mini-warehousing service, Root has continued to provide amazing customer service for almost three years now. We had a great time visiting the store and finding out more about Mr. Mustafa and what it is like to be a Parcelly location partner.
What do you love most about running the business?
What I love most is the different range of customers that come to my store due to the variety of products we offer. We always tend to have tourists from many different countries coming in, and it is lovely to get to talk with everyone.
What is it like to run the Parcelly service?
Extremely smooth! I have never had to call the customer service help line, which shows just how intuitive and simple the app is. Each time a member of the Parcelly team came down to my store, they were very friendly - and just the regular service has been very professional.
*We would like to add that Mr. Mustafa has a keen interest in the logistics sector and is a Parcelly customer himself, who loves our business model and collects all his parcels from a local shop next to his house. *
If you were deserted on an island and had to pick 3 items from your store, what would you choose and why?
"Keeping it simple; My wallet, my phone and cigarettes."
Well, let's hope Mr. Mustafa's desert island accepts card payments and has 4G... :-)
