The Retail Technology Show is an exciting event for professionals across the retail industry to discover the latest tech innovations, trends and solutions that are shaping the future of retail.

Held at ExCeL London on April 2-3, this year’s show saw over 15,000 senior retail professionals and 400+ tech solution providers showcase cutting-edge technologies that will set the tone for the year ahead.

The Parcelly team were excited to attend the event this year to share our innovative Pick-Up and Drop-Off (PUDO) solution with retailers and network with thought leaders from across the retail technology space.

The show offered a comprehensive agenda across four stages, covering topics such as:

  • Leadership, Workforce & Economy
  • The Future of Trading

We started with an AI session on the Spotlight Stage: ‘AI Trends Shaping 2025 and Beyond’, which highlighted how AI is revolutionising retail through predictive analytics, hyper-personalisation and supply chain innovation by invent.ai.

On the sustainability side, we saw the panel discussion: Ensuring Your Sustainability Strategy Is a Win for the Customer, The Environment & The Retailer’, a session that defined sustainability in retail and prioritising initiatives for positive impact by ASOS, Currys plc and BRC.

Additional talks included Transforming and Future Proofing for Growth’, a Fireside Chat covering JD Sport’s journey of transformation and the integration of new technologies for their evolving business needs and also ‘Predicting How Omnichannel Retail Will Evolve by 2027’, a panel discussion by ASDA, Seasalt Cornwall, Dunelm and Aptos Retail.

As we look forward to the future of retail, the key takeaway from this year’s Retail Technology Show is that staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving industry means embracing innovation.
