The sharing economy is a group of people who can make idealism a reality.

As part of a very busy end of June, Parcelly was a sponsor of the Sharing Economy conference at The Crystal Venue in London. The event was filled with exciting businesses from around the UK (including Easycar, Grub Club and Inploi), giving their thoughts on the current state of the sharing economy and discussing exactly what the future holds.

Our own CEO, Sebastian Steinhauser, was invited to speak on a panel about policy, sharing his thoughts about how current UK and European policies will affect the sharing economy and business in general for the UK. Also discussing the recent Brexit decision on the panel, he pointed out that "Brexit brings with it increased incentive to create cross-border logistics solutions".

The panel discussion was live streamed on our Facebook page, but in case you missed it please watch the recording HERE.

The conference offered multiple opportunities to speak with like-minded business owners who see opportunity in 'using what already exists' to create incredible and successful businesses. Parcelly achieves this by utilising redundant space in existing shops and local businesses for people to collect parcels, rather than creating new storage space.
