MEET PREMIER, MACKENZIE GENERAL STORE - OUR PARCELLY LOCATION OF THE MONTH
Welcome to Premier, Mackenzie General Store, the family business that has been under the same owner for over 40 years now. The store has always been a convenience store, but since the Patel Family took over, it has been through a lot of changes and more than doubled in size! There are a lot of changes still to come in the coming months, for example a coffee & sandwich shop will be added at one corner of the store to enhance customer experience...
Chosen for their amazing, quick customer service, Premier has provided a great Parcelly service since day one, and we had a great time talking with Store Manager, Mr. Dharmesh and finding out more about him.
So, what is your favourite thing about managing the store?
My parents own the shop, but I am the one who manages it. My favourite part is the customer interaction, for sure! Because we have been here for so long, our customers are pretty much always the same one and we already know them by their names. It is always lovely to get to chat with them and it is also a great way to develop a good wavelength to make sure every customer is satisfied.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Oh, what football, of course! Although we are so close to the Arsenal stadium and all my family supports Arsenal, I am a big Tottenham Hotspur supporter. I always go to the games when I have the chance. I also love to travel, just been to India to visit the family over the Christmas break, but my ideal holiday would be going to the beach. I cannot wait to have the chance to go to Brazil and experience the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, it looks amazing!
If you could bring any celebrity to your store, who would you bring?
The Spurs boys, without thinking! That would be amazing if they come to my store, although I do not think they would be around this area, sadly...
